The BNP Paribas Green Bond Trust (‘the Trust’), distributed in Australia and New Zealand by BNP Paribas Asset Management Australia Limited (‘BNPP AMAU’), has received a ‘Superior’ 4 star rating from SQM Research (Nov 2021) as adviser interest in the strategy grows.

SQM Research is a reputed investment research house which specialises in providing accurate research and data to financial institutions, investment professionals and investors. The report highlights the highly experienced and well-resourced investment team making particular note of their long track record. The report also cites the strategy as a ‘true to label’ product with the focus on green investing embedded into the process.

The BNP Paribas Green Bond Trust is managed by Head of Euro Multi Strategy Fixed Income, Arnaud-Guilhem Lamy, and further supported by BNP Paribas Asset Management’s dedicated Global Multi-Strategy Fixed Income team.  The Trust invests in global green bonds, a category of fixed income used to finance projects designed to mitigate or address climate change issues; and leverages on a proprietary integrated engagement approach to identify investments expected to have the most positive environmental impact.

In addition, the Trust, which is further supported and informed by the BNP Paribas Asset Management Sustainability Centre, a team of 28 dedicated investment professionals located in Paris, New York, London and Hong Kong, also adheres to the firm wide Global Sustainability Strategy which ensures Environment Social and Governance (ESG) principles are fully incorporated in the investment process.

The BNP Paribas Green Bond Trust is an Australian domiciled investment vehicle available to both Australian and New Zealand investors.  The minimum investment amount is AUD 25,000.
