Important Update – C WorldWide Global Equity Trust

Latest news

BNP Paribas Asset Management

Dear Unitholder,

Please be advised that the Product Disclosure Statement (“PDS”) for the following Trust has been reissued effective 4 March 2021;

C WorldWide Global Equity Trust (‘’Trust’’)

The following has been updated in this new PDS issue:

  • Name change from ‘C WorldWide Global Equity Trust’ to ‘BNP Paribas C WorldWide Global Equity Trust’
  • Reduction of the buy / sell spread from 0.30% / 0.30% to 0.15% upon entry and 0.15% upon exit. The buy / sell spread represents the amount deducted from an investment, representing costs that arise when investing application monies or funding withdrawals from the Trust.
  • New information on page 5 of the PDS under the heading ‘Labour, environmental, social and ethical considerations’. This new wording highlights that the Trust now invests consistently with the BNP Paribas Asset Management Group’s Responsible Business Conduct Policy (“RBC Policy”), as amended from time to time. The RBC Policy sets responsible business conduct standards including following investment screens such as the United Nations Global Compact principles and OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises, and guidelines relating to investments in sensitive sectors. Those sectors currently include, but are not limited to, palm oil, wood pulp, mining activities, nuclear, coal-fired power generation, tobacco, controversial weapons, unconventional oil and gas and asbestos.

Please note that no changes have been made to the existing portfolio in order to align with the RBC Policy. More information about this Policy can be accessed HERE.

The updated PDS also includes updated transactional and operational cost information as at 30 June 2020 to satisfy regulatory requirements.
