BNP AM

The sustainable investor for a changing world

According to the world’s leading scientists, the natural world is in crisis. We are losing biodiversity – the very fabric of life on Earth – at an alarming rate.

Here you will learn how we at BNP Paribas Asset Management, the sustainable investor for a changing world, are addressing this existential threat to societies and economies.

In 2019, BNP Paribas Asset Management published our roadmap for providing long-term sustainable returns – our Global Sustainability Strategy (GSS). Since that time, continued in-depth research into our dependencies and impacts on nature has led to the 2021 publication of Sustainable by Nature: Our Biodiversity Roadmap.

In 2022, Sustainable by Nature Sequel: Our Portfolio Biodiversity Footprint research paper was published where we present findings on how to determine a biodiversity footprint. This complements work on our water and deforestation footprints with data to arrive at a more complete picture of our exposure to, and impact on, global biodiversity loss.
